Red Ants Infest Wallmansthal

The Red Ants, the security outfit tasked with effecting evictions, on Tuesday were handed the responsibility of removing housing structures from the Wallmansthal informal settlement.

The action was brought about by both the Wallmansthal Communal Property Association (WCPA) and AfriForum.

These forced removals were a result of a court ruling on February 2 stating that the land belongs to the WCPA.
