The Oscar-winning actor Al Pacino was fined $188,283.50 for back taxes from 2008 and 2009. But Pacino's lawyer blamed the notorious Kenneth Starr, who was sentenced to seven years in prison for running a $33 million Ponzi scheme on many celebrities including Martin Scorsese (see slide 14) and Uma Thurman.
