The Museum of London, located in the strikingly modernist Barbican complex, is home to an extensive collection which tells the story of the city's social history.

Its sister museum, Museum of London Docklands, is based in the Isle of Dogs area and gives visitors an insight into the history of London's Docklands and the city's relationship with the River Thames.
