Andy Roddick's mohawk made the headlines in early 2012 when the 29-year-old tennis star debuted the scruffy looking 'do at a US press conference. Asked about his reasons for the drastic cut, Roddick replied: "I'm pretty sure I only have a year or two left with hair, so I decided to have fun with it while I could." We guess a mohican is a new and novel way to disguise hair loss.

As more men than ever are getting waxed, plucked and groomed to within an inch of their lives, are these mega rich sportsmen focusing too much on the hair below their neck and ignoring the most obvious bit of hair they have - that found on their head?
