Day 2: Prince William and Kate’s Singapore visit in pictures
The royal excitement just keeps on building.
On day two of their visit, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge started their morning with a visit to Gardens by the Bay. The royal couple arrived to much fanfare, as excited fans and students lined up at the gardens' Supertree Grove to receive them.
Being the only venue with full access to members of the public, the crowd started forming as early as 8am even though Prince William and his wife were only scheduled to arrive after 10am. The royals finally made their entrance at about 10.30am and greeted the crowd of screaming fans and school children.
Dressed in an elegant white full-skirted suit by Alexander McQueen, Catherine together with Prince William went on a walkabout and stopped several times to speak with members of the crowd.
In the afternoon, the Duke and Duchess were due to arrive at Queenstown, Strathmore Green HDB estate to watch some cultural performances. Following that, the royals visited the Rainbow Centre at Margaret Drive, a school for children with special needs.
