Johannesburg is notorious for its lanes of traffic, thousands of cars, unrepentantly-bad public transport system, scores of pedestrians, long travelling times and overpopulation of taxis. But South Africans are known for their adaptability, and this is exactly what drivers in the city have done.
In order to make life easier for themselves, they have 'changed' some of the national rules of the road, and replaced them with rules that make more sense in the overpopulated city.
