A collision of 26 cars on the N1 highway in Johannesburg on Monday left one person dead and 28 people injured.
The accident was caused when a Delta Bricks truck driver lost control of his vehicle, driving into a barrier and crushing a black Mercedes and its female driver.
The truck then plowed through a taxi and several other vehicles.
One of the vehicles, a Mazda 3, overturned on the N1 North and landed on the N1 South, which caused more traffic congestion.
